Compilo AS, organisation number 995 781 778 (“Compilo”, “we”, “us”), uses cookies and similar technologies on web.compilo.no. This policy explains what cookies are, how and why we use them, and which ones this website sets. A full list is at the end of the page.
This policy covers web.compilo.no only. Other Compilo services, including logged-in services on compilo.no, may use their own cookies.
What is a cookie?
Cookies are small text files stored on your device, such as a computer or phone. They can remember something you did on a website, for example a setting you chose. Some cookies are strictly necessary for a site to work. Cookies used for other purposes require your consent.

How we use cookies
We set one necessary cookie, cc_cookie, so we can remember whether you accepted or rejected optional analytics. We do not use functional cookies or marketing cookies.
If you accept analytics, we load Plausible Analytics. Plausible does not set cookies. It collects aggregated statistics, such as page views, and does not identify you across days. If you accept necessary cookies only, Plausible is not loaded.
You can see your current choice and withdraw or change it at any time via Administrer cookies in the footer.
We also load fonts from Google Fonts and icons from Cloudflare (cdnjs). Those providers may receive technical information, such as your IP address, when the files are fetched. We do not use Google Analytics, advertising cookies or embedded tracking pixels.
Why we use cookies
We do not use cookies to advertise, to build a profile of you, or to track you across other websites. We use them only where needed to:
- Remember your choice — the consent cookie described above.
- Run the website — strictly necessary technical functions from our host (Vercel), so the site can be delivered securely.
We do not set cookies when fonts and icons are loaded from Google Fonts and Cloudflare. Those providers may set their own technical cookies or receive technical data such as your IP address.
If you follow a link to another website, for example LinkedIn or compilo.no, that site may set its own cookies under its own policy.
Your consent
We need your consent for all cookies and similar technologies, except those strictly necessary for the website to function or to provide a service you have expressly requested. Consent must be voluntary, and you may withdraw it at any time.
The first time you visit, we ask for your consent through the cookie banner. Your current status is shown in the footer, where you can also change or withdraw your consent.
Your personal data
The consent cookie stores your choice, not your name or contact details. Our host processes technical data such as your IP address to deliver the website. Optional analytics (Plausible) runs only with your consent. We do not sell your data.
